Easter
Easter is not just another day,
in the morning a feeling of hope, freedom and happiness fills me.
Today I know that Gods only son, Jesus has risen;
the man who came and gave his life for us is once more alive.
The wonderful feeling of the memory of our Lord´s sacrifice is not a feeling to compare with.
Don't you ever wonder who would do such a thing? Who would die and go through the pain for a people like us?
Why give us a chance why let us live?
Being human makes me so self centered, I don't see the situation that Id do the same.
´Why let these petty creatures live? All they do is cause trouble.
Nevertheless, our Lord God saw in us what we still do not see-
Hope.
Time after time we still fail him and forget that he got nailed to that cross.
Time after time we let Him down and disobey and throw our crowns to the ground.
Yet time after time he still comes and washes us in His blood,
even when we still forget the price he paid.
So Easter is when we remember God who came to this earth in human form and gave his life for us.
He is alive, still healing, freeing and forgiving us day after day.
All I have to say is,
Happy Easter.
