Is it not ironic when God puts you in your place? I think sometimes our Father gets a kick out of proving His devotion to every obscured detail we leave in the trail of our minds, even the bad ones.
There was a time when I despised Sunday School with a jaded zeal. I was young, arrogant and ignorant to the way God works. One Sunday morning I finally decided I was fed up with my cliche routine. I vowed that "this Sunday School is my last." No longer would I squander a good extra hour of sleep to be zonked right back into a daydream. Once I arrived the day started normal, but soon turned for the best. The topic I can not remember to save my life, all I know is I was hooked by sincere compassion. People seem to talk just to hear their voices, not that day. I guess you could say my lesson was more than the words or lesson itself, it was the Spirit of Truth reaching from the depths of one saint to another.
I thank God for irony. I thank God for love. I thank God that He has shown me even Sunday School is divinely prepared by His almighty hands.
