"Behold, I make all things new." Rev. 21:5 King James version
For me the new year is like a blank canvas on which to paint a new
destiny. A new chance to perfect the art of living. It is a chance to learn
from the past. A chance to do all you hoped for or dreamed but dared
not to do. No matter how many times you may have failed in the past, it
is a new chance to begin again.
The new year is a tapestry of radiant colors, I add through out the year.
It is made up of colored threads representing every person, place, or
thing, that touches my life. The good, the bad, the dark and light form a
beautiful mosaic that is my life.
You may find a gold thread for a new friend, or smoky black for the
death of someone you loved. Variegated yellow and oranges for that
beautiful sunset, or baby blue for that precious grandson, who thinks
there is nothing you can’t do.
My only prayer is at the end, I can look back with a humble heart, and
know I have done my best.
