One red-leafed branch on a solid green tree.

Two barn swallows soaring over the pond.

Three chipmunks on a conglomerate stone.

Four children playing in the mud.

Five puppies running up a sandy hill.

Six girlfriends skipping down the sidewalk.

Seven orange kites in a cloudless bluer than blue sky.

Eight blueberry pies fresh from the oven.

Nine yellow convertibles in a row.

Ten meadowlarks singing.

ALL PRAISE AND HONOR AND GLORY BE TO JESUS, OUR CREATOR, AND OUR LORD.

Eleven term papers, completed.

Twelve math exams 100%.

Thirteen tractors hauling just-picked apples.

Fourteen women enjoying the aroma of those apples on the breeze.

Fifteen huge pumpkins.

Sixteen conch shells at the beach.

Seventeen pieces of driftwood pushed into the sand dune.

Eighteen marshmallows browning over the campfire.

Nineteen graduates hugging.

Twenty babies at a family reunion.

Twenty-one books read this year.

Twenty-two peach pies for a bake sale.

Twenty-three old men playing horseshoes.

Twenty-four Golden Retrievers at a show.

Twenty-five chocolate ice cream cones.

Twenty-six teddy bears on a red shelf.

Twenty-seven lawyers passing the bar exam.

REASONS TO PRAISE JESUS: EDUCATION CELEBRATED. VARIETY ILLUMINATED.

Twenty-nine shirts to chose from.

Thirty couples renewing their wedding vows.

Thirty-one motorcycles zipping down the winding highway.

Thirty-two white-tailed deer leaping through the cornfield.

Thirty-three pastors ordained.

Thirty-four sweethearts receiving a single long stemmed yellow rose.

Thirty-five blue jays squawking on a wire.

Thirty-six colors of paint for the artist’s rendition of sunset on the ocean.

Thirty-seven baskets of squash and potatoes ready to go to the mission.

Thirty-eight gently used winter coats for kids and grown-ups, donated.

Thirty-nine violins playing with the orchestra.

Forty people enjoying learning the meaning of their names: spear thrower,
torch, life, sylvan meadow, pure and gracious, servant of the Lord, little companion....

Forty-one hamburgers just off the grill for the soccer team.

Fifty men and women having fun in a bowling league.

Fifty-one onesies purchased in Honduras to help the local economy, and babies in need.

LOVE PRONOUNCED, ENCOURAGED. FUN TIMES PLANNED AND ACCOMPLISHED. EVANGELISM EVENTS TO TOUCH THE LIVES OF CHILDREN AND ADULTS FAR AWAY, AND EVER SO NEAR.

Fifty-four night crawlers lined up for boys to use fishing for perch and blue gills.

Fifty-five peanut butter and jelly sandwiches wrapped in wax paper.

Fifty-six guitars for sale at the music shop, all gleaming and polished.

Fifty-seven tambourines used by the choir while singing “I’ll Fly Away”.

ALL HAIL KING JESUS.
CREATOR OF THE MINDS WHO INVENT THE THINGS WE NEED IN THIS LIFE.

WHAT DO WE NEED IN THIS LIFE? FOOD, SHELTER -- MUCH MORE BASIC – LOVE; FRIENDS, COMPANIONS, ACQUAINTANCES.

MOSTLY, ASSUREDLY,
WE ALL NEED JESUS. WE SING PRAISE, WE PRAY PRAISE, AND THANK YOU JESUS!
