Memories

Moment by moment and day by day
Memories are stored in our heart.
The things we do, the things we say
Each day is a brand new start.

The time we breathe, the love we share
Passions our hearts for more.
Blissful or cheerless reminiscences are there
Unlock your heart to store.

Memories make us smile or make us laugh
Some cause us to regret.
We gather them, we cherish them
Many we seek to forget.

Mistakes we remember, successes we hold
We canít relive the wrongs, we canít delete the tears
Some are silver and some are gold.
Grow stronger from these precious years.

Memories keep building determining our life
The dreadful ones fade, the lovely ones only grow
The love, the joy, the pain, the strife
Prepares our souls so we will know.

That making new memories begins today
We live our life and we grow old.
Reach for pristine ones, happy ones and then youíll say
My heart has more memories to hold.

This is lovely, with some great truths. Keep writing!

Memories are beautiful things. Wonderful words here. The meter is off some, but a little more time spent on this should bring a wonderful result.

I loved this. It was graceful and beautiful.

Great job.
