My soul’s desire is for God to use me for His will;
For, if He uses me, my life’s purpose will be fulfilled.
I only desire to be an instrument, a tool;
For, being a tool for God is more valuable than a precious jewel.
I’m an empty vessel longing to be filled with God’s love and grace;
For, without Him, I am a picture without a face.
I have a hunger to be near Him each day;
And a thirst that only He can quench as travel life’s roadway.
My soul’s desire is to be only what God wants me to be;
For, God’s will and desire is what’s best for me.
