I remember as a teenager thinking what in the world am I going to be when I grow up! I loved sports, and in my junior year, my coach said I had potential in playing college volleyball, and some scouts would be coming out to watch me play. I was exhilerated to think of my future possibilties.
But later in my junior year, some unexpected changes occured in my life, and at the age of 17, I was now married, with a baby on the way.
Our marriage was ruff, and some hard roads followed. God would have to perform a miracle, or life as we knew it, was over. At our point of desperation, God came to our rescue.
He began to work in my life, in teaching me submission to my husband, and in teaching my husband to be the physical and spiritual leader of our home.
God gave us convictions, that would change our life!
We now have three children, and look forward to more on the way. Our life
is complete, knowing that we are in the will of God, and doing the will of God.
Looking back now, 10 years later, I can see that God allowed that unexpected change in my early life, so I wouldn't pursue "My" Will, but "His" Will.
I am overflowed with JOY, as God has abundantly blessed us with little soldiers to raise for His honor and glory.
I know now what I became when I grew up. A wife, a mother, a keeper at home, a guard of my home, a watcher, a protector, a nourisher, a singer, a teacher, a homemaker, an entrepreneur,
a gift, a hope, a guide, a purpose... and on it goes.
What an awesome responsiblity God has given me, when He gave me the
MOTHER of all adventures!
