“There! All finished!” His voice boomed from above me. “What do you think?”
I craned my head upward. Stretching across the sky was a multicolored mess. Loose ends dangled toward me. I batted away a blue one. “Well…um…”
“Great, isn’t it!”
“It has a lot of pretty colors,” I commented. That much was true.
“Don’t you think the overall picture is stunning?”
I looked closer, trying to see the picture that He had created. There were hints of a pattern here and there, but nothing I could discern. “It’s got a lot of…3-D texture,” I replied, pointing out the knots.
“Oh, it works out in all dimensions!”
I threw my hands up in exasperation. “I’m sorry Lord, but I just don’t see what this picture is of!”
“You’ve got to change your point of view,” he called back.
I tilted my head to the side, then to the other. I tried crossing my eyes, but the picture never popped out at me. I walked around, attempting every conceivable angle. “I still don’t see it!” I called up.
He picked me up. “You can see a lot better from here.”
“Oh,” I said quietly, plopping down beside him. “It is beautiful.”

I really enjoyed this piece. Sometimes we do have to chance the angle to see what God sees. Very well done. Keep on writing. You did well!

It must have been wonderful to see from God's point of view. What an interesting concept. Nice work
