ABC’s of writing

Attempt it. You’ll never know if you don’t try.

Believe others will want to read it.

Choose words carefully.

Deliver the words in a way that pleases the eye.

Endear yourself to your readers

Fail. You have to expect it.

Glory in your successes.

Habitually write. Spend time every day honing your craft.

Ignore those voices whispering “You can’t”.

Joy…insert it in every sentence.

Kindle the fire for more in your readers.

Launch yourself through words.

Make up what you have to but make it believable.

Notes, take copious notes of anything and everything.

Opens your stories with attention grabbing words.

Purpose to write to glorify God

Quiet. If you need it quiet to write, get quiet.

Rid yourself of the mundane.

Silliness is allowed and encouraged.

Time, it takes time and lots of it.

Unique. You have a style all your own. Revel in it.

Victories celebrate them.

Words. Use them wisely.

X—examine carefully what you say and how you say it.

Yield, when needed, to another’s opinion and viewpoint. They might be right.

Zip. Add zip and pizzazz to your writings. No one wants to read a boring book.

Lots of good encouragement here. Fix a few piddly punctuation errors for a more finely polished piece. Thanks for sharing this!
