If I had all the answers
I would be amongst you all
I would stop all the torment
Pick you up when ever you fall
I can only guide you
In all the things you do
Filling your mind with goodness
And then it’s all up to you
Don’t you think I despair?
At the things you do and say
I can only stand by helpless
As in life you go your own way
Don’t you think I don’t feel?
All your heartache and pain
I feel all the torment your inflicting
Over and over again
I am your Father who loves you
Who will comfort when you cry
I will be the one with arms wide open
The moment you take your last sigh
Remember all those that pass over
Their spirits will linger on
In my world they live on forever
Still very much alive not gone
