How do we police ourselves? Self-control and moderation in all things--not too much or not too little of anything, are keys to wholesome Christian living, right? How do we know that policing of our lives develops our values of self-control and moderation? We know that we all can grow and evolve our minds. We can become all that we are meant to be. And we may exceed our own expectations of ourselves when we allow the Lord to have ultimate control of our plans and dreams.
Let's police our lives to include the Lord, God and the Holy Spirit in our personal development. And let's believe in His majesty and power to allow us to choose freely to serve Him or to do as we please to do with our existences.
Praise God for all of His blessings as we contemplate how we can control our lifestyles and preferences in a manner that more than resembles the process of policing of ourselves.
And please understand how self-control can keep us in check as we take action with our ever-changing options in mind or in view. We can restrict our actions, our intentions and our reactions to get the most out of life. We may wish to do many things that are not the very best for us to accomplish or to undertake. Let's not go overboard or overdo it in life's struggles. In fact, why not ask the Lord for His intervention during times of temptation? God Bless you richly!
