Aware of hurts that overwhelm,
Hearts sing a healing hymn to me.
So genuine, assured they care,
I bask in precious melody.

With whispered lyrics, minister
To one whose pain can’t be denied,
Love flows through lips of caring saints
As soothing as a lullaby.

Melodic voices mend my heart,
Souls sing encouragement to me,
So calming, caring, nurturing,
Soft voices sound like poetry.

Kind affirmations, healing balm
To one whose heart has suffered pain.
With words that soothe and medicate,
God’s children join in rich refrain.

More burdened hearts chime in, sing out,
Lift up their songs to heaven’s door,
Petition Healer’s tender touch,
To see their sister’s heart restored.

Fine healing chorus binds my wounds,
I revel in fair masterpiece,
In unison sweet melody
Restores my hope, my joy, and peace.

I hear the music in their words,
Resounding tune restores my soul,
Saints intercede on my behalf,
Prayers strengthen me and make me whole.

Oh...really sweet and tender thoughts here. Well executed rhythm and flow. Overall, a touching outpouring. I especially liked this stanza:

"More burdened hearts chime in, sing out,
Lift up their songs to heaven’s door,
Petition Healer’s tender touch,
To see their sister’s heart restored."

This speaks of a burdened sister in Christ who is lifted above her pain by the functioning (active) body of Christ. Very inspirational. :-)

Oh, the richness of this beautiful verse!! The imagery comparing friends' prayers and support to a lovely melody is exquisite! I love this poem. Its message is straight from the heart, and its perfect rhythm and rhyme are pure melody indeed. Bravo!!!

I very well painted picture of comfort in times of pain... The answered prayer while in the struggles of life Shows itself quite clearly. Good job.
