We have so many heavy burdens, sometimes, as we travel along the road set before us. They get heavy and we become weary. Did you know that there is a place where you can leave all of your cares and burdens and walk freer, and feel lighter? At the cross of Jesus Christ, you can leave your sins and shame, and be redeemed.
Jesus died so we may be free of our sins, and even today, that "old rugged cross" is still there, as a reminder of what He had done for us. Gods mercies are new each day, and when we feel we have fallen short, and have given into sin, we can come unto the cross, and confess to our loving Heavenly Father. He forgives us, out of His great love for us. He says "Come to me, all who are weary, and I will give you rest"(Matt 11:28). Enter into that rest today. Unload your burdens at His feet. The shadow of the cross will cover them, making you whole, clean, and renewed. Walk through life in freedom! The freedom that Jesus died so that we may have!
