What vale of valleys do we traverse?
What sort of mountains make life worse?
What values are intrinsically inscribed within our hearts and lives?
What valleys have we crossed before and survived?
Let's stay on the lee side of valleys of values...
May we always have a soft breeze, not a gale on our backs;
Could we stay positive and not curse?
Give us the power to reverse any wrong acts and anything worse
If in the valley of tears, let's review our fears;
Let's not deny our apprehension;
But consider our recollections...
without any sort of pretensions
And forge new paths with determination, friends
Find the valley of sorrow
when we wail like there's no tomorrow;
But go beyond our forest of fogginess;
And delay any such lamenting without condescending to anyone in any valley whatsoever in whatever wicked weather.....
Hold fast to what is good...let's do as we should...in brotherhood and sisterhood in any neighbourhood....in the valley of beers or tears or a certain amount of cheer with each new year....from there to here in the modern world....
Find your best values....try not to be shallow....let's not leave our lives to fallow....but persist in praises to our Lord....Christ Jesus...and the rest will follow....thank God!
Keep our valleys as clean as our minds while staying beside our brothers and sisters in their times of trouble and vivid valley days...not death valley days...in these tempestuous tests of modernity and in the swells and shoals of our faith journeys beyond the hills and down in the pleasant, pleasing valleys of faithfulness where righteous rivers run cold and clear.
(Are we to cling to old fashioned values and lament the passage of time and tired traditions? Or are we to hold fast to the Lord and preserve our faith while beating back the blustery blues of discontent? Why not, dear brothers and sisters? Let's recreate ourselves if we may but love and praise God in every way in the valley of values and on the mountains of hope & trust and certainty in this harsh reality of day-to-day life.)
