I have had a few visions as a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ. I will share one, and hope it encourages the body as a whole.
I live in the midwest, in Missouri. I read an article written by a pastor in Kansas City. he said how he wanted his city to be consumed by Gods Holy Spirit, and for lives to be changed. I prayed for this city, and God gave me this:
Kansas has a lot of grasslands, so I envisioned a huge wildfire sweeping through the land. Not one blade of grass went untouched by this fire. I imagined the grass the people, and the fire Gods Holy Spirit, consuming His people by His power and His might. I saw this people be transformed, burned, but more beautiful than before they went into the fire. Gods spirit burns. It refines and tests us, and soemtimes there is pain. But the results are always improvement and spiritual awakening. It is never done in vain. God will consume our hearts if we ask Him. There is a beautiful song that goes like this. I do not know who wrote it, but it is called "Consuming fire" The chorus goes like this-"Comsuming fire, will You fan into flames, a passion for Your name. Spirit of God, fall in this place, Lord, have your way."
May His all consuming fire consume our souls and change us into His likeness!!! May we be like the blades of grass. Burned, but improved, made beautiful for the Lord!!
