I was told to meet the lawyer t the house to sign some papers. As I drove us the winding road to get to my aunt's house, I never ever remember ever coming to her home. She always visited us during holidays because easier for her to travel to us than my parents packing all of us up. The house was quite old and covered with vines running all over it. The house looked like one out of a gothic novel. The shutter seem to be hanging on by a nail here and a nail there. The vines had taked over the house and the yard, I couldn't belive that they could grow so wildly. They creeped into the house itself and took over every empty space of the house.
I couldn't imagine my aunt living here, this didn't even look like her taste. This house didn't look like the house that my aunt would ever live in. She was such a freespirit, so full of life and this house wasn't.
As I walked around looking how bad this place looked I knew right away that I was going to sell it. There was no reason to keep it; for I had no memory of why my aunt such a dark and cold place.
Then like nothing that ever happen to me before, a vision came to me and voice saying to me,"Once you were like this house. The world had you all wrapped up and your mind was filled with confusion. No one really wanted to be with you even your family. But when the vines of life was choking the very life out of you. I came into you heart and brought light to the place that was dark."
What was this trying to say? Is there time when I look at things from a negative position and never see the good in it? Should I have looked at the situation from what I could do to make it somewhere I could live?
I decide to keep the house for I knew that God looked at me in all my mess and said I was a keeper. From that day on I never look at things from what I would do but how God would look at it.
