Make you think can it really be?
The news concerning politics
Tells about numerous conflicts.
Depends on what party you are
If you think the truth’s stretched too far.
Newspaper news is much the same.
Someone else is always to blame.
Perhaps cartoons come close to truth,
Even though they may seem uncouth.
Eating out is always a treat.
Is everything safe to eat?
Are the nuggets really chicken?
Can we trust that they won’t sicken?
When we send our children to school
Will peace and safety be the rule?
Can safety be found anywhere?
Should we start searching here and there?
The times your house needs some repair
Is the crew proficient and fair?
Buying a used car can be good
If the salesman tells what he should.
A product highly advertised
Leaves you unhappily surprised.
Even friends let you down sometimes.
Life seems to be an uphill climb.
When you don’t know which way to turn,
Open the Bible and you’ll learn,
God is the one in whom to trust.
When trouble is upon your thrust,
He’s always there to see you through.
He will guide you in what to do.
In this world trails we must face.
God’s there to save us by His grace.

With most poems, I like to read in a rhythm with the same number of lines in each group. I liked the lines that had rhyming words.
Editing of poems take a lot of time trying to get the lines to all fit in a pattern and then finding words to rhyme.
It is not an easy job but I can see you are working at it.
God bless~
Good job.
