Tucked inside the center of her emotions was a deep dark feeling of doom and despair. Her spiritual light was growing dimmer with each passing discouraging day.
Depressed anxious thoughts assailed her as she continued to look for something written that may encourage her somehow. The tears kept pouring out as she cried from her fruitless heart.
A few minutes later she found a blog site called “His Bright Light in the Shadows” and she began to read. The title of the blog drew her in. She needed His light to penetrate through the dark shadows of her life. The first article she saw seemed like a good place to start.
Let the Lord radiate your path for today and tonight
He will take you out of the shadows and into his light
Give Him all your burdens and darkness of your heart
Jesus will guide you and show you just where to start
Black clouds of uncertainty leave you feeling no hope
You stumble and fall as you slip down the deep slope
Into your valley suffocating in lonely dark despair
Jesus is asking you to let Him meet you right there
Inside of you is a light that over time has grown dim
Renewed you will be in your spirit by just seeking Him
He fully understands your honest hearts cry and the fears
Jesus wants to be your comforter throughout all your years
He knows you are hurting deep inside of yourself and wants you to heal
For all your sorrows of yesterday and today Jesus knows how you feel
In Him you have a divine purpose and you are here for a special reason
The struggles and circumstances you face today exist for a time and season
You are fearfully and wonderfully made and He knows all about you
He knows when you are happy or when you are feeling sad and blue
He is your bright light in the shadows of all your torment and pain
Let Jesus gently guide you and teach you how to dance in the rain
Sierra cried as she read the message held inside the article which seemed directed at how she was feeling for so long now. She fell to her knees into God’s presence and cried out to Him. Unaware of how much time had passed when she finished Sierra got up and went to get her Bible. It had been months since she read it.
“You, LORD, are my lamp;
the LORD turns my darkness into light.”
2 Samuel 22:29 NIV

The biggest thing I noticed is that you didn't use a single comma. You had many complex sentences, with different types of structure. When using a clause like With hot fresh tears flowing down her cheeks
make sure you put a comma after cheeks.
I enjoyed the ending and thought your message is a great one. There have been several times when I felt despair and God sought me out.
Good job.
I was running out of breath while reading this; do not forget to punctuate.
I agree with the punctuation comments, which made it a little difficult to read.
"Starring" should be "staring".
Nice beginning and great ending. Great Job. :)
Great job- I applaud you. I never see anything but the messages brought forward in each entry. And, this one had a beautiful one.
God Bless~
