This was a really cute story. :)

Generally, italics, as opposed to quotation marks, are used to indicate thought, to make it easier to determine whether the person thought it or said it out loud. In the challenge, use < i > and then when you want to end the italics, put < /i > (without the spaces.

I think I know what Biblical parable you're hinting at... I'd put the reference as an author's note. But you did a great job with this one!

I agree great parable for our life and times. How easy is it to not notice someone elses needs and only focus on our own? I liked how you wrote the couple so blind to what they could be doing with their blessings. We live in such a consumer world sadly. Great writing, keep up the work!
