Tears sting her eyes, “What will I do? How will I make it? Where will I go?” She places her hand on her abdomen. “The baby will be here soon. What kind of life will I alone be able to give her?”
Be still, and know that I am God. “Lord, how can I be still when my thoughts won’t move past this. Where is my future? How do I know what comes next? Be still child.
She drops her head and closes her eyes searching for an ounce of peace. “Help me Lord. Help me see.”
Her plea is interrupted by a noise above her head. A blue bird is perched on a limb. A bumble bee buzzes close by searching for the perfect bloom and a chipmunk ventures out of its home to see what the new day brings. Her heart hears loud and clear, Do not be worried about your life, I know what you need.

It's funny that you ask that. I didn't realize I spelled it that way. All I can say is I was so caught up in my own story that my subconscious mind was thinking hear just like my character was hearing God speak to her. When I finally saw it on my entry I was embarrassed by the fact that I used the wrong form.
