But especially a snail
Demands from within me
A scrunched face and one heck of a wail
Swatting a bee
With great hopes he will flee
Instead he so chooses to finally land
But to my dismay
Within my closed hand
I utter my eek…
My woe and my ouch
It’s mother I seek
So I spring from the couch
A snake in my path
My heart takes a leap
Striding my dance
I take a great chance
And there I sit perched
Upon a near fence
Chiding my wrath in all my defense
Grasshoppers can fly
And surely you know
They sometimes can be
A bothersome foe
At mighty great speed
I felt a hard thud
And into my forehead
It left its green blood
There is only one bug
I think I could hug
Now let’s have some fun
By guessing which one
She dresses in red
From her toes to her head
At times she wears spots
And is dabbled in dots
So I hope you can see
That his bug I could hug
Can only, yes be, a Ladybug!
