I said with a smile.
For I write things in rhyme,
In a story type style.
I’m in the beginners,
And find comfort while there.
So many writers,
With so much to share.
I get quite concerned,
That someday I’ll move up.
That maybe a judge,
Might just like my cup.
But that hasn’t happened,
And I’d probably drop dead.
If they once tried to put,
The intermediate crown on my head.
The topics are endless,
Some challenge the mind.
Some are just goofy,
Of the interesting kind.
Some, I just wonder,
What thought was in place?
Were they just angry?
Or was a smile on their face?
I look at the winners,
The comments I read.
Some are just awesome,
And others have need.
My spouse says “Don’t worry.”
Just write for your God.
Don’t try to please people,
You don’t need their laud.

Some of what writers have on their mind
Just have some fun and go on with the flow
Where it will end well who cares and who knows
The challenges hint of emmotion and thought
Some write on through and others get caught
In a road block that's called often times writers block
Some just sit and struggle while the clock ticks tick tock
Phew!, that challenge is over
Its over and done
Hey its not about us
It about Christ Gods own Son!
Good job
in Jesus,
m.c.s.
Write for God. The bottom line is, whether you receive an award or not, whether you advance- or not- you might be reaching certain people, and THAT is most important.
