Now comes a season and a time,
The next step i have to cross,
This is the work of the potter.
Now i have full plenty of time,
Spend with the children my precious time,
The little angles growing fine,
In God,s presence singing his sweetest tune.
How lovely to be with the little children,
To remember those old memories,
To urge them to serve God,
Now when they are strong.
Advice to give them,
In the right paths to direct them,
In righteousness to train them,
And in troubles to pray with them.
Serving with them am energized,
Looking at them am mesmerized,
Jumping like calves out out the stalls,
Listening to God,s voice as he calls.
I will tell them of the stories of old,
Like little David to be bold,
In salvation not to be cold.
For unto them is the Heavenly Kingdom.
To be obedient to their elders,
Like Samuel who slept at the altar,
Never to mind how many times Eli would call,
He became prophet over Israel.
Show them how to have dreams,
And nurture them till they hatch,
Never to abandon the good work,
Began in them by the Lord.
