After what seemed forever
A beautiful baby, heaven descend.
She was my second,
But my only child.
I couldn’t lose this one
I’d hold her forever.
The years went by so fast
As I went through all her last.
Then I blinked,
And she turned sixteen.
She didn’t need me to drive her around,
We hardly even spoke a sound.
To know what she was doing I would try,
But all she did was make up more lies.
Was this a dream, was this really happening,
Was I really trying to find her
So I could put her in someone else’s handling.
Where did I mess up,
What did I do,
That my baby had to use.
Why did I agree to fly her,
How was I supposed to know she’d find a way to die more.
Oh God why is this happening,
Please save my baby, she’s dying.
Jesus I don’t know what to do,
I don’t think I can leave her,
Please tell me I can trust you.
Oh God, what did you do,
How is it, that she’s now living for you.
Thank you God for giving me my baby back,
Thank you God for taking care of her,
Through the beginning and through the end.
I know i can trust you,
for the rest of her life.

There are a few places that have the wrong punctuation (question marks in particular).
I know parents that have been through this type of situation and you captured the mother's heart perfectly. Great poem.
May you be blessed in knowing where your baby is.
