tonight's topic. Four out of the six members of the small group were also there. The only ones that were not present and accounted for were Jim and Patti.
"Mark, Could you get ice out of the refrigerator, and a bottle of Sprite, and Coke," said Beth.
"Sure honey," replied Mark.
"Ding dong," the doorbell rings, as the last guests arrive.
"Hey, how are you doing?" said Mark.
"Ok," said Patti as she walked in with her husband Jim.
"You can have a seat over there and we will get started," said Mark.
Mark spoke, "Were studying Psalm 121, I hope that you have had a chance to read it. I do a bible-reading schedule where I read the psalms on Sunday. When I was in seminary there was one Sunday when I was scared about to starting a new job the next day. I just happen to read Psalm 121 that Sunday. It gave me comfort because, I was concerned about if I could do the job. When you start doing something you never have done before, it can be scary. I need to lean on him for help because in verse 2 it says that my help comes from the Lord. He is the only one that can help me, my wife Beth can't help me, my son can't help me, and only the Lord can help me. In Verse 3 it says that I will never be defeated, and I don't haft to worry because the Lord is not going to fall asleep on the job. I may fall into danger, and I am not talking a physical danger, but I am talking doing something that may get me fired. The Lord is going to guard me I can live at peace, and enjoy my new job. This is the psalm that as sustained me through this change in life. If he can sustain me he can sustain you."
There was a moment of silence, as Pastor Mark took a long breath.
"Lets pray, Lord thank you for how you used this psalm in my life during a time a change. I pray that this psalm will impact the lives of everyone hear. In Jesus name Amen," said Mark
There was a peaceful feeling in the room as everyone was encouraged by the heartwarming message.
"Hey everybody, Lets dig into some of those snacks," Said Mark

This would be a very, very short meeting! But hey, the snacks were waiting. A note: the word "Bible" and books of the Bible are always capitalized. I'd suggest that you break up Mark's long speech, either with descriptions of action (He paused to take a drink of Sprite) or with other people chiming in.
