Sometimes I feel that I can longer hear your voice or see your face, that you’ve hidden yourself from me. My heart cries with pain and my hand shakes with despair, the pages remain blank and my pen isolated on the self. I search but to no avail can I fill the pages or find your words. In my brokenness my heart cries to find your beauty, your inspiration and your hope. My prayers remain unanswered and my thoughts remain void. I write this letter, this prayer as I search for your promises and praise to fill my empty pages and my empty heart. Enclosed you will find my empty pages and my empty heart.

Dear Heartbroken:
Always remember I will never leave or forsake your nor do you ever walk alone. Sometimes you will stray into the wilderness, as with all of my sheep, my children I will come and find you no matter what the cost. I have already paid the price with my blood and tears. I long to fill you heart with love and peace, to fill your mouth with my praises, your mind with promises and your pages with my inspiration. Sometimes you must be willing for me to be your hands and allow my words to become yours. My words will be your words and my voice will become your voice. My inspired words have created history’s best seller, The Holy Bible. It was written by individuals like you a murder, a tax collector, a shepherd, a physician, a gentile, fisherman, and prophets. Most of the men came from underprivileged backgrounds, most came from the Jewish religion, and one man was a Gentile. They allowed me become their hands and their voices, I filled their hands and hearts with my inspirations, my promises and my hopes.
Throughout time some of the most beautiful words have been written in tragedy and despair. My faithful follower, Horatio Spafford was a successful businessman with a loving wife and four beautiful daughters. His faith in me was no rival to others of his time. He and his wife lost their child, a son during his infancy. Years later he lost everything he owned in The Great Chicago Fire. Two years later Spafford and his family decided to take a vacation to England. Spafford was delayed by business and instead sent his family on ahead of him. The ship carrying his family was sunk in the Atlantic Ocean. His four daughters drowned aboard the ship, only his wife survived. He was notified with a telegram that said: Saved Alone. He found himself abroad ship standing in the middle of the ocean, at the spot where his daughters died. He was overwhelmed with grief and suffering but he penned the immortal words: Whatever my lot, thou hast taught me to say, “It is well, it is well with my soul.” Through his suffering and my inspiration many have found comfort and strength in these words.
Fannie Crosby was blinded by a doctor during her infancy. She spent thirty five years as both a student and teacher. During her time on earth she penned over 9000 of the best loved and awe inspired hymns. She never became bitter or disheartened because of her blindness. When asked about her blindness by a clergyman she replied, “Do you know that if at birth I had been able to make one petition, it would have been that I should be born blind?” The puzzled clergymen asked, why? Her beautiful response was, “Because when I get to heaven, the first face that shall ever gladden my sight will be that of my Savior!"
Her eyes become my eyes and her hands become mine, beautiful promises and praise were written in the midst of tragedy and extenuating circumstances. What of could have been her pity became her hope, what could’ve been her despair became her inspiration.
Will you allow me to become your hope, your inspiration, and your voice? Will you allow me to become the author of your story?

The Lord's letter in reply was very loving, but seemed to lack the intensity of feeling that your narrator's letter to Him had. Maybe a more back-and-forth correspondence, with shorter replies, would give you the opportunity to give Him more depth?
This is very nicely done.
P.S. I experience your character's longing for God's inspiration everytime I write. I can relate to the desire to have Him write through her!
