Microwave Faith

Lord Jesus; we want things to be
Done quick!
We pray to be healed instantly when
We are sick.

We cry and grumble when things go
Bad.
Wanting instant results to have joy,
When sad!

We make our prayers in hast,
No time to give, or waste.

Our time spent with you is done on the,
Fleshly run.
Forgetting to thank You for the great
Things You've done.

We want instant answers when we walk,
Our trial.
But our intimate time spent with You,
Requires self-denial.

In this rush though life's garden wanting
Microwave answers now.
Our faith diminishes, and grows weak,
Then we wonder how?

Lord, forgive us and remind us that
Our time is valuable with You!
That You desire our whole attention
In intimate relationship too!

Don't let us get into the microwave of
Faith as some do!
Help us to walk not run and value our
Time with You!

Gardens are planted with care. Seeds grow if left there.
There is a time for all seasons of life to grow.
God has set His time table here below.
