The stone looked so inviting
The balance act was great
Who could last the longest
And still reach heavens gate
One teeters to the bottle
One totters to the porn
The walks been undertaken
With the fence between the throne
Were straddling the fence post
Stepping over all the points
Wanting all the worldly side
For its temporary delights
Many of us walk the path
We know that is not true
Hoping we can slide between the slats
Yet keep Christ in our view
We like to walk through the Bible
Putting our desires in its truth
Searching in our own power
Yet wanting rescued when life turns sour
Are you walking in the Son’s shine
Or in the shadow of the dark
Is the fence between the glory
Of yet another soul
Is your finger on the me button
Of the computer of your life
Will you push delete
Casting Christ from your life
Come walk with the Savor
Keep His light in your view
Let the victory of His power
In you to others shine through
Quit walking on the fence post
Hopping left and than to right
You’re hopping from glory
to the darkness of the night
Come walk with me He whispers
As He calls out your name
Lets leave the balance act forever
IN His arms never again to stray
