There is now no more condemnation in me
For I’m in Christ.
I choose now to walk in the daylight
And forsake the night.
I walk not in the lusts of my flesh
But in His Holy Spirit.
I have freedom from the bondage of sin
No more do I fear it.
For God who sent His only beloved Son
Condemned sin in the flesh.
So the law of righteousness be fulfilled
For our spirits to mesh.
To be carnally minded is an enemy of God
And a sure death sentence.
But I seek now only to please Him
I've come to repentence.
His Spirit will quicken my mortal being and
Raise me from the dead.
For His Spirit brings life everlasting
I look to things ahead.
For I am now led by the Spirit of Holy God
His child I'm called.
He's not given me the bondage of fear
I cry Abba, Daddy God.
The Spirit Himself beareth witness with mine
I’m bought with a price.
I have become an heir to Almighty God and
A joint-heir with Christ.
I may suffer with Christ in this earthly life
But it cannot compare,
To the glory which shall be revealed in me
In my home up there.
For now all of creation groans and travails
In pain and despair.
For the blessed hope of the eternal adoption
And freedom from care.
Not only creation, but I myself groan within
Anticipating the date.
As we are saved by the blessed hope unseen
With patience I wait.
The Spirit Himself makes intercession for me
With groanings unknown.
When I know not how or what to pray
And can only moan.
All things work together for my good
According to His plan.
To conform me to the image of His Son
Firstborn among man.
It is me He's called, justified and glorified
In a predestined plan!
What shall I say; if my God be for me -
Against me, who can stand?
He spared not His only begotten Son
But delivered Him up.
Now with Him also freely gives to me
A righteous cup.
Who is he that shall condemneth me?
It is Christ that died!
And now is risen again and seated
At the Father’s side.
Who shall separate me from the love of Christ?
Tribulation or distress?
Persecution, famine, nakedness, peril or sword?
None of these, I confess.
I am more than a conqueror through Him
Who loves me.
I am persuaded that neither life nor death
Will a separation be.
Nor angels, nor principalities, things present
Nor things to come.
Neither height nor depth nor any creature
Will I succumb.
For the love of God found in Christ Jesus
My Redeemer and King.
Can never be taken away from me
No, not by anything!
