EXPANSION

Seven sister roses
In full bloom.
Close friends and laughter
Filling up a room.

Sunsets of orange and pink
Swallows in flight,
Palamino in a field,
Shooting stars at night.

Little baby fingers
Clasping my hand.
These life things
Make my soul expand.

Follow-the-leader
With a little child,
Marching, singing, hopping,
Quiet gone wild.

Vanilla ice cream
In a sugar cone.
Cotton candy at the fair,
Tilt-a-whirl alone.

Hiking on a wooded trail,
Sun bursting through;
Fawn running,
And coyote too.

The taste of clover honey
Made by bees.
Rippling rills of water
Up to my knees.

Smells from the oven
Wafting through the air,
Peanut butter cookies
Are not rare.

Whatever the struggle,
Whatever the dream,
Life is much more
Than it could ever seem.

Those folks you love,
Hold close and dear.
Cherish the moments
More each year.

Clumps of spring beauties
Down in the glen
Set my soul a'tingling
Like its never been.

What else will be encompassed
By this soul of mine?
Puppies and bunnies
And church bell chimes.

What wonderful imagery here. I was right in there! Work on those rythms and keep them regular. The ideas are fabulous and you have them running out like the dam is full! What glorious potential.
