The soul that sinneth, it shall die
Tis the unrepentant sinner’s fate
Best to give your heart to Jesus
Before it is too late
But God will redeem my soul
To this promise I hold fast
Confident when I go to my grave
God will not my soul in hell cast
My soul, my essence, O Lord
Cries out to your holy Name
Casting all my cares upon You
Since into my life You came
Every soul’s fate is in your hands
Preserving that of the saint
For he goes in and out to feed
Never to grow weary and faint
Our souls we are told to possess
In patience we are to be bold
Satan can do us no more harm
Safely we dwell in your sheepfold
My soul does surely magnify the Lord
He snatched me from the pits of Hell
Jesus, my Shepherd and Bishop
Trusting in Him I cannot fail
There will be a new heaven and earth
Where the soul of man shall never die
Those beheaded for the sake of Christ
Dwelling forever with Him on high
