Before my eyes I perceived a way, a road climbing upward. This path was called ‘Pilgrim’s Progress’. People followed this road on their journey to High Places, I saw children of God climbing upward: some were stumbling, and some were even lying prostrate. Others rested by the wayside. Maybe Much Afraid and her companions, Suffering and Sorrow, were in the crowd. I did think I caught a glimpse of them. I definitely saw Christian hiking valiantly along.

As my eyes scanned the scene before me, I noted some people were bending over and assisting others to their feet. They spoke encouraging words reminding the weakened ones that the King was waiting for them. Some travelers were arm in arm on the journey. There were ones who walked leaning on canes of various kinds, or supported by crutches. There were even ones who crawled! Yet always the throng pressed upward. The road was littered with obstacles and potholes, certainly not an easy way to travel! Still they went onward and upward

My vision broadened and brightened. Voices singing came across my mind. I heard and watched a great army, standing strong and marching sharply. They were clothed in armor and as they marched I heard the words, “We’re marching to Zion, beautiful, beautiful Zion. We’re marching onward to Zion, the beautiful city of God”

Still yet the vision broadened and grew brighter again. I viewed the cheering crowds of people along each side of the road. They applauded uproariously, calling out affirmations and words of love. I even thought I recognized some of the people. Their faces were radiant! Their arms were raised and songs of praise to the King joyously filled the air

And then, the scene before my eyes was filled with brilliant light. I saw a magnificent white horse with a heavenly rider. Behind Him was a host of God’s children. They were dressed in white robes and were following their King back down that same road that had become a broadened highway. There were no tears or pain on their faces; no looks of confusion, or anger or frustration. Their eyes were focused on the One who road before them. Their countenance reflected only confidence and boldness. I heard the words proclaimed, “WE WIN!” Praise God.

Very good. I could clearly see the scene you set. Watch common spelling errors. rode instead of road. Keep writing
