When do we really think we have anything in abundance? We always want more or something different. Sometimes the abundance we have always wanted becomes too much work, or too much time is involved in what we wanted in the first place. Thank God for the prayers that God answers no to.

He knows our heart and we may pray till were blue in the face, but his answer is the same. Even though you may not know it, but he has your best interests at heart. He knows you better than you know yourself. He would know that what you have in your mind as abundance is really not abundance at all to you and would only make you unhappy.

We have the illusions of abundance in our minds and we seek it out sometimes rather persistently. Sometimes there is a lesson to be learned first or we wonít appreciate what we want or what we crave. Wanting something because someone else has it, or because it looks good, or feels good does not make it good or make it feel good, sometimes the opposite would have occurred if God had answered yes to our every prayer.

Letís hope that we have abundance in what will make each of us happy and nine times out of ten we ourselves donít know what that is. God knows what it is and maybe if we pray for his abundance for us then will get abundance. We just need to think about how well God knows each of us and when we get discouraged and think he hasnít answered us or we feel ignored just know he is not ignoring us. He is doing all of us a favor. Listen to him and let him guide you. Let him set the course and his will always makes us happiest.

True--His ways are not our ways. He knows better than we do what is best for us. Thank you for that thoughtful reminder. God bless.
