REASON FOR JOY

Can you hear it?
Can you see it?
All heaven is hushed and waiting.

Will he do it?
Will she?

Theyíre mine, Satan says.
I have a list of their crimes, Satan says.
Quiet! The Father says.

Many prayers have been said.
Vials of sweet incense poured upon the altar.

Angels have been dispatched.
Keep them safe, is the Fatherís decree.

A word quietly, urgently spoken
Heís hushed
Sheís thinking

Tears
Words
Folded hands
Bowed heads

Forgive me
Iím sorry
I accept you

The singing starts
The party begins

The Father smiles
He is mine
She is mine

But- Satan says.
Be gone! Donít you see the Saviorís blood?

The heavenly choir sings
The saints who have gone before are joyous
The Father smiles

The four beasts with six wings and full of eyes, who rest not day or night say:
Holy, holy, holy Lord God Almighty
Which was, and is, and is to come. Revelation 4:8 (KJV)

The twenty-four elders fall down before Him that sat on the throne and worship Him who liveth forever and ever and cast their crowns before the throne saying:
Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honor, and power, for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created. Revelation 4:10-11 (KJV)

I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance. Luke 15:7 (KJV)

We triumph in joy because the Father wants us to be His - not Satan's. Good message.
