Yesterday, today and tomorrow
Childhood sweethearts forever.
In the beginning many against
Yet God blessed this love eternal.

The history of a love shared
A love so strong after many years.
The final years of life on earth
Loving not always understanding.

Time on earth is but so short
A love so dedicated to each other,
To share the love of one mate
Many years the Lord has granted.

Now she is lost in mind's past
Not knowing time of this day,
Still adores her only love known
Excited to see him when he visits.

He visits each day with longing
Someday she will recognize him
Thanking the Lord for this gift
The love they've shared for years.

Soon to come an end to all of this.
One day both will be called away,
To the heavenly home supernal,
To live forever in eternal bliss.
