Pin drop silence. Audience showed absorbed attention. Three full hours in the evening. Fitly spoken words like apples of gold in settings of silver were offered to every sorrow filled soul. Life in him flowed to swell the wearied folks gathered. Micheal was set on fire and people saw him burn.

Curiosity killed the cat until Eli found Clement in the crowd. He pushed the chairs aside and rushed shouting “Clement! Clement!” His inquisitive voice opened. “How come you are here?” They shook hands. Together they hurried through the pathway. As soon as they were a few blocks away from the venue, the crowd was comparatively less. “I had been hanging out at holiday inn. Frank told me about the need for an electrician here. God brought me here.” Clement stood like a statue. “God!? Eli talking about God?” Clement peeked at Eli once again. His face shone as never before. He could see a fountain of joy and not the old depressed Eli. “How about joining dinner tonight with me? Let’s get to the best hotel.” Clement’s eyes bulged. He remembered the poor state of his wallet and gladly accepted the offer.

“Before I explain in detail what happened, Clement please tell me! Where does he come from? What is his country?” Clement smiled. “You mean the speaker - Micheal?” He clarified. “Of course! By the words he spoke, I know that he’s definitely a man of God, and that the word of the Lord in his mouth is the truth."

They entered a hotel and sat down. Clement continued after they had placed the order. “He’s a man from Kansas who traversed the valley of tears before he could face his first everlasting love. He lost two of his newly born sons one after another. It took a long time for him to come out of this inexpressible emotional and mental mess. Then another beautiful boy was born. The couple loved him very dearly. They poured all their affection and brought him up with great care. They wanted the blessings and long life that Abraham of the Biblical character had and enthusiastically named him “Abraham”.

Unfortunately their joy did not last long. This son also passed away. That man of God was thoroughly shaken not knowing how to comfort his beloved wife. With a heavy heart, he buried his loving son and returned home. When he entered the room with no more tears in his eyes, his blood congealed. There, upon the bed he found his beloved wife lifeless.

All his family members were gone. With nothing to live for, he bolted the door behind intending to commit suicide by hanging himself. Friends, relatives, neighbours and others thwarted his attempt. Then he tried to drown himself in a lake and once again he was rescued. He did not know what to do.

Finally he focused his attention on the Lord and poured all the contents contained in his heart at his feet. The Holy Spirit descended and filled him without measure. He began to shout with joy speaking in unknown tongues. “Has he gone mad?” Thus uttering, people came close to watch him. They found him rejoicing in the divine presence of the Lord. From then on, he speaks only about everlasting love and eternal honeymoon. Many signs, wonders and miracles are performed by the Lord through him.”

Eli who listened intently without interrupting now spoke. “I must confide the truth today to you. I found and experienced the touch of immortal love here. ‘My dear Friend! Cheer up! God will build the home of a lonely person and will be a Father to you.’ When these words came out like a spear it pierced me. A shiver went down my spine. I felt something like an electric shock strike me. You know. I am an orphan, with no commendable education and also without a job. My wife left me for another. Nothing to connect with, I contemplated on suicide just before Frank called me. I firmly believe that Jesus Christ called me today to say, ‘Son! I am your everlasting love.’ I am sure it is going to be eternal honeymoon hereafter – I wish to have such a fellowship that Micheal has with the Almighty God.”

Dinner was served. Strengthened by the testimony of Eli, Clement also became a new creation. Together they shared their views about this everlasting love and eternal honeymoon.

You are certainly a storyteller! I did have to go back trying to sort out who was speaking, and I wasn't sure if some of your picturesque language was to be taken literally ("burn") or figuratively. Is this part of a bigger story? (Having more to go on might make it easier reading.) Consider the work of the re-write---not an easy task, but it would make this interesting story more reader-friendly.
