Why are we like this?
Because of the way we are as human being. We tend too be like this in many ways. This is nothing but sin, total sin!
Why would I want to be this way? As I realize looking at people in this world. Doing what they do, also lauding things to happen in a way of being down right selfish. This is the work of flesh. In the Bible this meaning of this word is ….loving one’s self first. Yes we love ourselves! But!
We must realize father God is first we are following him. Not ourselves. Another thing being selfish is not good.
(This is mine all mine not yours)
I hear more children of today say all mine right Mommy!
And most parent go right along with it rather than explain to the child about sharing there toys or food a chair with others.
Make sure Christ is always first in your life. Not self, otherwise self will fall. Christ will never fail.
In The scripture (2 Timothy 3:2-3
For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Unloving, unforgiving, slanderers without self-control, brutal, despisers of good,
