I believe we each have a lock on our heart. We can choose to unlock it and let others in, or to always keep it locked. We can lock Jesus and everyone out of our heart, or we can choose to who we will unlock our heart.
First, it is important that you unlock your heart to God's salvation and let him in. Then, you must give your heart and life to Him daily. Once you have done that, you should open your heart to your family and friends. It is important to have open, honest communciation and companionship with those closest to you. Then, you should open up your heart to minister to others for God's glory. As the Lord works in your heart, you may be able to open up and minister to someone who really needs your honesty and humanness in thier own life.
Sometimes, you may open up your heart and get hurt. Life is like that, but if you give your heart and life to the Lord daily, He will protect you, and heal your broken heart, and even help you to grow from it. If you do not unlock your heart, you will never grow. You have to unlock your heart to have eternal and abundant life.
"Then, I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within them, and take the stony heart out of their flesh, and give them a heart of flesh, that they may walk in My statutes and keep My judgements and do them; and they shall be My people and I will be their God." Ezekiel 11:19-20 NKJV
