DID YOU FALL FOR HIS LIES TOO?

Did he tell you it will be ok, as long as you sweep it under the carpet? Even though it makes you live in fear!

Do you still believe him that you needn’t do anything to preserve it, since God ordained it?

Well, I’m here to tell you: THE devil IS A LIAR and he will cheat you of your God given rights if you continue to let him rule your life. Once I too, believed those lies and like me, you need release from the bondage of mental slavery. Stop! Believing his lies will make you complacent, thinking all is well, when your soul is heading straight for hell.

IT’S A WAKE UP CALL:

Regular church attendance won’t make you immune – it’s a lie.
Tithing won’t make it ok – another lie.
Giving to charity won’t save you. Having the cash to put in the collection plate, don’t raise your stake. Being in church all your life could mean – you know the ropes.
But if you don’t know the Lord as your personal saviour, you’re just following tradition and becoming a religious joke.

Repentance is not just reserved for those hearing and accepting the call for the first time – it’s for all. It’s for you and I who have promised faithfully to follow the Lord yet so often give way to flesh. However, it is by grace that we are saved and not of our own will, so when we step out of grace we are reminded, and encouraged through His words to get back up again “for a saint is just a sinner, who fell down and got up again” (Kyle, Matthews, sung by Donnie McClurkin, The album: Live in London and more…). He is faithful and just to forgive us though we so often forget him and allow the devil to control our thoughts and actions.

Tell the devil to move out of your way and be free.
Free from:
People pleasing;
Goodwill doing; and
Saintly acting (hypocrisy)

Now flip the coin and claim the victory in Jesus’ name.

FREEDOM TO SERVE
Turn your regular church going into REGULAR WORSHIPING
Turn goodwill doing into service for THE KING
In your every action, PLEASE GOD, even if it leaves you friendless for popularity on earth counts for nothing; the crown is too heavy a burden to carry in the flesh. Work towards a ‘WELL DONE’ when you reach ‘THE PEARLY GATES’. Only then will you be deserving of the crown and can ENTER the place He has gone to prepare for you.

Well done. Your article confirms the message I received today - Never expect praise from people. I liked the word 'religious joke'

Amen! Amen! Good word here! It is indeed a wake-up call. How does the verse go? "Focusing your eyes on Jesus, the Author and Perfecter of our faith". No one else's applause or condemnation should matter if we know we are hearing from the Lord.

Only one thing I would consider doing differently. When you reference a song from which a phrase is taken, just put an asterisk (*) beside the phrase, go to the bottom of your article, insert a line ____, then on the next line put your reference. Makes your article flow without disruption.

Again, a very good and timely message. Keep writing!
