I can think of nothing to write about "enter"
Searched my memories and racked my brain
Get a grip, I say sternly, get to the center
Of your self and stop being inane.
Tried the avenues of my imagination
Been through A to Z to see what rhymes
Must be that my muse has gone on spring vacation
I thought this challenge would mean good times.
Pondered over stories of contests won and lost
Searched my Bible for inspiration
No idea is compelling and ideas get tossed
Word smith missing at this location
Muse returned and suggested I write a ditty
Anticipating her aid, I wait
But that is all the help I got, what a pity
Better get something done, can't be late
Want to make that Faithwriters deadline anyway
Although I do not expect a prize
This Canadian from the north will meet it, eh
And I will give many more good tries.
