Anger? Sorrow? Worry? Fright?
Job Insecure? Finances tight?
What is the problem you now face?
You think there’s little hope?
No longer can you cope?
Are you in need of extra grace?
Well, there is hope for you and me,
Although from where, we cannot see.
It comes from our Father’s hand.
It’s moved by prayer,
From warriors everywhere
Spread throughout our nation’s land.
We see it in our neighbor’s smile,
When someone walks the extra mile.
We hear friendly words o’er the telephone
We read it in our mail,
Encouragement when we fail.
It’s then we know we are not alone.
Why struggle with the doubt?
Why whine, mope, and pout?
Help for us in on the way.
God knows our plight.
He’s going to make it right.
He promises to answer when we pray.
He’s the renewer of our mind,
When we think we’re in a bind.
He’ll change our darkness into light.
If we only trust in Him,
Our future won’t be dim.
We will walk by faith, not by sight.
Well, there’s hope on the way.
Hang on another day.
Just say that prayer, sit back, and wait.
Just watch how He’ll work.
Your plea He’ll never shirk
God’s help will never, ever be too late!
