The most amazing thing happened to me!
I’m a pensioner. My old car had burned out and been “fixed” by a “Christian” friend who charged me well for the job.
It lasted three months and then the engine burned out again!
I couldn’t find the money this time, so it stayed in the carport for two years, motionless. I rode the buses.
One can sometimes do more things with one’s time than waiting at bus stops, so I commented to Father that I really could use my car.
It was only a passing comment and I forgot about it.
Shortly after that a friend visited. He had a friend with him. I was not at home but my car was of course.
The friend’s friend, who had never met me, announced that he would fix my car without any labour cost to me!
And over the next few weeks he did just that!
This, in my books, is a miracle! Thank you Father!
My new friend showed me that the engine, which supposedly had been machined (and I paid for that) had never been machined at all.
Those two men went and confronted the first mechanic, who was totally uninterested in the situation as it happened two years ago, and was not willing to make amends for the job he had not done. He said his offsider had done the car, not him. Although I paid him! He was not doing cars these days. He was selling insurance instead.
God is not mocked and I fear for this man. He’s a pillar of the church!
We need to fear God.
Mechanic number two is Bob, and has become like a brother to me (he’s much younger). The old 1984 Corolla always runs purrrrrrfectly these days because of his constant attention. With both our families interstate, we make a great substitute family, the more so because we are bound together in Jesus.
I love it that Jesus is my “Husband” nowadays and my needs are taken care of. This is only one single example of Father hearing my prayer and answering in the most surprising manner, when I least expect it.
Now I expect answers, because He has shown his wonderful true colours, and wants me to ask so he can respond in His wonderful Fatherly fashion.
