MARCHING TO GOD’S BEAT
To be in the middle of this vast country, we often forget how close we all are to one another.
So many times doing what feels good instead of thinking of how it will affect our neighbor. Although we think it correct, it is not.
There is the attitude that as long as it don’t cost me any thing or hurt (physically) anyone,
Then we should be able to accomplish our mission in life, at least in their mind. But we that believe in a more compassionate attitude toward people should give unto those who truly do not have enough to survive in this world. We also should keep in mind that what happens to one can indeed happen to some one else, for us as Christians to go by while some one needs our help as if it would break our bank account is just wrong!
The love our savior showed to mankind was the love that covers all mankind and for what ever their needs are, therefore God needs for us to be humble and with a willing heart to extend to any and every one a hand in friendship and compassion. To just go around listing to our drum and how it sounds, why not try to keep in step with God’s beat a while, and I know you will see the results of something wonderful and bigger than anything you would have imagined. Yes we are in our own world a lot of times, but we are not alone.
We keep hearing our pastors and ministers of his holy word preach to us concerning love thy neighbor and do to others as we would want them to confer upon us. If we would live by that statement alone to think what a mark we would leave on these people that can not
Care for themselves, so loving your neighbor has to be the fulfillment of many prayers sent up from those in need.
