Control: Let God Lead the Way 3Feb06
The one thing we try to maintain. Yet we need to learn as Christians that God is in control.
We struggle everyday of our lives to control everything. Our work, our hearts, family. We get so caught up in controlling every aspect of our lives that we forget that God has a plan. That God is supervising our lives. Yes, we have a choice. To turn our backs to Him or to live for Him. We get confused and lose focus. Struggling to gain control instead of turning ourselves over to Him. Letting God lead us when we are lost. Because if we can’t gain control of our lives then we feel useless. Who would want to be apart of someone who has no control. Of themselves or of their own lives.
Sometimes we pray to God to give us control of our lives. Lost in the world, and in ourselves. Blind to the plan laid out for us. The more we try to hold on to things in our lives the further from the Gods’ plan we get.
Soon we are spinning out of control. Going so fast that we need to hit something to slow down. Take stock of our lives, and reassess.
Truly we just need to let God have control of our lives. As a child our parents knew what was best. Acted in our best interests. God is our one and only Father. He created us and loves us more than we could ever possibly understand. He knows what we need in our lives.
So give total control to Him. Let God be your guide, your heart, and your answer to all your questions…
