Living my daily life I see many things are left up to chance. I mean life isnít just a script and we are not actors. We all have our own will and many choices. Time and chance happen to us all I have been thinking about a lot lately. One thing we have power over in our daily lives is the make the right choice. Watching the TV show cops depicts an obvious criminal making the wrong choice by trying to outrun the Cop. We know thatís the wrong choice and it usually winds up in disaster for the poor idiot criminal. We need to have self control over our little bad habits. Perhaps not as bad as high speed chases but nonetheless important to our own walk. It could be as little as pointing our web browser to the many places we ought not to go. We can ask ourselves one word about our surfing of the internet. Is this help to my spiritual growth? Time and chance happens to everybody but how we handle our predicaments is what really counts. Like in football the winning always comes to the basics like hard blocking, hard hitting, and hard tackling. To win we need control of our own bodies. The right decision is usually easy to make and obvious the correct one. We have to figure out who the enemy is and hit them hard. Whether it is a bad habit, pet sin, or just a bad attitude, we need to knock it out, and knock it out hard. Donít make friends with the enemy. This is battlefield, not a recreation game. So letís come up the plate and letís win!

ďBut I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castawayĒ 1 Corinthians 9:27.

Good thoughts going on here. Maybe a few too many to stay focused though. Liked the idea that life isn't just a recreational sport, but the real deal.

In your last two sentences, you say life is not a game, and then you write to step up to the plate...you might want to re-write this with a more focused approach. Perhaps one example per paragraph? You have a lot of encouraging things to say...keep working on it!

I agree with Jan. Proof reading a few times helps us alot, especially after others point out things that we could change. Soon we notice them ourselves, and improve. I liked your thoughts and message though..Keep writing! God bless ya, littlelight

Good thoughts here. No point repeating what was said before. Thanks for sharing.
