Everyday, I open my local paper and see the passing of people younger than I printed before me. Yet my heart is firm in knowing I am still here. I often wonder if the person I read about has fulfilled their greater purpose.
I watch the leaves on the tree that are born in the spring only to die and fall to the earth in the autum. Is that all their is to this world? Imagine someone who doesn't believe in life after this one. They born to die and serve little purpose while living here on this earth.
With my eyes wide open with the help of a spirit, my world is big and beautiful. If its the snow falling only to melt immediately or a rain drop falling to soak into the soil. Every item I view has a specific purpose. But what can this purpose be?
As I reach my later years of life, I realize how fast it has gone. I don't know when my purpose will end as a leaf on a tree. When will I fall to return to the earth? I have learned so much and have so much more to learn before I leave this earth.
Home, is where you make it. It is where your heart rests. But home has nothing to do with your shelter. It isn't the country you occupy, nor is it even the earth you have grown in. Home is an unimaginable place that is promised by the maker of all creation. Home is not of this world.
When my purpose is serve, it is then that I go home. Home is when we are welcomed by Jesus. Our responsiblity is to prepare here for life there at home. We have a choice. It doesn't take an especially smart individual to figure it out. We can use our time on this tree of life to prepare for the Glory of Heaven. Or we can choose not to prepare and fall from the tree only to be racked up and burned.
I know that this is the worst life I will ever live. I also know that this is the best life that many will ever live.
Home is not of this world unless you choose it to be. I look forward to the completion of my purpose for my Father's Will, so I can leave this place and spend eternity with my Lord and Savior.
Its my job to bring my friends home with me. My job is to take you and introduce you to the key to the house, Jesus Christ.

Your piece would be improved with a few edits to clarify its focus. For example, you say "Home is where you make it," and "Home is not of this world," and "Home is not of this world unless you choose it to be."
Very good conclusion.
