We live in a world with an unprecedented abundance of information available to us. Anyone with access to the internet can be an expert on any topic. How many times have you heard a friend expound passionately on some exciting or controversial topic but when they are asked where they learned so much, their sheepish answer is, 'I googled it.'? This now familiar tongue-in-cheek quote depicts the reliability of believing everything you read online: "The trouble with quotes on the Internet is that you can never know if they are genuine." --Abraham Lincoln. With so much information at our fingertips, what can we trust? Is the question really 'What can we trust?' or is it 'Who can we trust?'? Or should we take it one step further and ask the question Pilate asked of Jesus: 'What is truth?'1 Where do you search for it? Where can it be found?
What is truth? A person must know what truth is to discern what is false. Truth is what can be verified. Something we can rest our hope on. Something we can count on to be there tomorrow. Truth is what is real. It doesn't change.
Where do you search for truth? Too many times the place we search for truth is the place we think we will find what we want to hear. We consult the friend who will tell you that the choice you want to make in your life is the right one. We read website after website hunting for the one that validates our opinion. We turn to what feels good. Is it enough to feel good? Is that more important than truth? What do you let lead your life?
Where can truth be found? Just before Pilate asked Jesus 'What is truth?', Jesus made this statement: 'To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth.'2 If Jesus came to bear witness to the truth, what is that truth? A person that bears witness is one who gives an accurate report. Can you see it? He came to give an accurate report of the truth. He came to tell us what was true. He came to show us the nature and heart of the Father. He came to live what is true. He came to give us His Spirit to guide us into all truth.3
This is where we live today. We walk in the Spirit, letting Him lead us into all truth. Can truth be found on the internet? Yes. Can lies be found there as well? Yes. We discern the difference by listening to the voice of the Spirit. Do you know His voice? The way to tune your ears to His voice is to learn who God is by reading the Bible, reading the words of the Father and of the Son. The Spirit will never speak anything contrary to what they teach.

I would suggest breaking up your entry into manageable paragraphs so your readers can have a better reading experience. The three points you presented would make nice paragraphs. Also, incorporate the scriptures in the body of the article so readers will be able to differentiate as well as make a connection between your thoughts and the facts from the Bible, while reading.
You have presented an interesting devotional piece with a profound ending. Keep writing.
I am thankful that we are given the Holy Spirit to live within us when we are baptized.
