He was pierced and nailed through and through without mercy to that cruel instrument of justice, like a condemned thief, known as the cross.

The wind would not hear a sound from him in his selfless act.

He uttered no whines about this speechless injustice,he spoke no words.

He hung on the cross silently through
the pain..... Knowing his beloved us,
betrayed him, an innocent lamb,
to be slain for our shame.

We thought we knew him so well.
we sold his life so cheaply without a care.

We broke his heart with these cutting words under our breath. “We have placed him there to die a sinner's death and we know he is innocent but we have no regrets."

Adding another spear to his deeply pierced side:
We brashly declared ,
“You call yourself the Son of God.
So if this true then come down
off that old wooden tree
that they call our cross of
Calvary.

"He was innocent of all crimes."
The Roman guard did declare.
The final moments before his death took it's final toll.

This very same man was known to have said,“The way he released his spirit into the night air this man must truly have been God’s royal heir.”

Jesus the Savior really did shine
forth in that sad day , orchestrated
by his Father's own hand.

Our Father in heaven crying at the moment would not hear one whine!

He saw his son in excruciating pain hanging on for three hours so we his priceless children could be redeemed.

So let us remember the next time we would complain, that Jesus said these famous lines in his greatest moments of pain.

“Father forgive them for they know not what they do, this sin trap is over and I have broken through!”
