We lay gently among the flowers
Touching each other's hearts
Through poetic rhymes
A day of endearing hope
Breathing in the fragrance
The breeze gracefully flows
Trees dancing in the distance
Leaves touching the sky
Clouds puffing up the horizon
As we gaze and feed our emotions
God has blessed us
Our glorious pasture of blooms
Not just of flowers but of our love
As we lay peacefully among his creations
To feel each moment that passes
Is but a wonderful gift of life
And we hunger as we set the blanket
Out end to end in the middle of the meadow
Reaching for the basket
Filled with jars of delicacy
Honey and fruit to fill our needs
Our daily bread to nourish our souls
This is our time to reminisce
How great is our God
That He gave to us this
Delightful place to have the perfect picnic
