“Who told you that you are naked?”
Adam and Eve were asked when they had eaten the tree that was sacred
Alone and ashamed they had no answer
As sin had started to eat at them like cancer
“What does thou here?” Elijah was questioned
The miracles that had kept him alive God had not even mentioned
Struck by fear of the evil Jezebel he had fled for his life
Forgetting his victories and focusing on the strife
“Where is thine brother?” was the question to Cain
Who out of disobedience and jealously his brother he’d slain
And though he thought he had hidden his sin forevermore
All he only shut out salvation and bolted the door
What have you done to save your brother?
And have you with the resources I have given you been a giver?
These questions the Lord will require of us all
On the day of judgment when He makes that call
